Some years ago, a PE teacher I had wouldn't let us play football in PE class. Of course, boys were allowed to, but for some reason, there was always an excuse for us, girls, to do so. For example, that we "needed training", however, we didn't need any when we played at recess, and boys could play without even getting trained before, just for the fact that they were boys. It was sad since a lot of us had gotten tired of always playing hockey, and we wanted to have another activity to do.
